What we run in Markham
Markham bookings skew corporate. Tech offices along Highway 7 and the Woodbine corridor book us for summer socials and end-of-quarter events on their own terraces, which is the easiest possible version of this job: known space, known headcount, and a facilities manager who already knows where the loading bay is.
The residential side is Unionville and Cornell, where the events are engagements and milestone birthdays and the setups are smaller — four to eight hookahs on a deck or in a back garden. Historic Main Street Unionville has its own constraints; the properties are older and the outdoor space is tighter, so we scale down rather than trying to fit a full spread in.
For corporate bookings we can invoice on net terms rather than taking a card deposit. Ask when you enquire.

Markham questions
Asked here specifically.
Can you invoice a company rather than taking a deposit?
For corporate bookings, yes — net 30 against a PO, which most of the Highway 7 offices prefer to putting a card in. Say so when you enquire and we will send terms instead of a payment link.
Do office terraces count as outdoor under the Act?
If the terrace is open to the sky and not enclosed on all sides, yes. The complication at an office is that it is also a workplace, so the smoking area has to be one staff are not required to pass through or work in. Facilities managers usually already know where that line is in their building.
Is there parking access for load-in in Unionville?
On Main Street it is tight, and we plan for a longer carry. Tell us if the property has no driveway access and we will bring the compact cases and allow extra setup time rather than turning up and improvising.
